A person’s thinking and actions are influenced by their background and the circumstances they are in. This is called a place-bound perspective. A person’s place-bound perspective is determined, among other things, by age, gender, religion, or economic situation. Because the place-bound perspective varies from person to person, people not only react differently in certain situations but also view everything that happens differently. Therefore, the one true story of history does not exist; everyone views and describes things from their own standpoint.
